Getting Started

The new connect site features blogging, multiple discussions, idea submission, and the ability to add and upload pictures. Our new blog, moderated by Jim McLaughlin will feature stories and information on local events. You can become a part of the conversation by creating an account and commenting and adding to the blog.

Our new discussions features locally relevant questions and dialog from art to wellness. You can become a part of the conversation (or start a complete dialog yourself), by creating an account, logging in and posting a topic under the appropriate topic. All discussion posts allow you to easily add content to the site, upload pictures, and start a dialog with your fellow Southwest Florida neighbors.

An exciting multimedia initiative designed to give Southwest Floridians a dynamic place to explore ways to connect within the region’s diverse and ever-evolving communities. Through Connect!, the outdated concept of a passive audience will be transformed into an interactive, two-way street, where WGCU invites your participation. The project will spotlight many ways to connect.
