Be My Neighbor Day

Join Daniel Tiger for WGCU’s annual Be My Neighbor Day! This family-friendly, fun, and FREE event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Myra Janco Daniels Public Media Center on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University. Families will have the opportunity to explore  three “neighborhoods”: Arts & Education, Science & the Environment and Meet the Helpers where they’ll meet neighbors from community education, arts, environmental and public safety organizations. In addition, Daniel Tiger will be on hand to meet and take photos with all his SWFL friends. Finally, at the heart of this event is the importance of being neighborly, so WGCU will host activities throughout the day promoting community kindness.
