Middle and high school teachers bring your own devices to this special training session and expand the walls of your classroom with PBS LearningMedia’s digital library of over 125,000 resources. Join Florida PBS for an exploration of innovative digital resources and new productivity tools and student experiences. Discover how digital media can support your teaching and learn how to use Florida PBS LearningMedia to inspire, engage and personalize learning experiences for your students.
Michele Watson is the FPBS Director of Education Services and is responsible for helping coordinate statewide education initiatives for Florida’s PBS television stations. Having received a degree in early childhood education from Florida State University, Michele began her career as an educator, working for the Polk County School Board for eight years. With her background in early learning and education, Michele has worked to introduce Florida PBS LearningMedia to educators so that they may experience the most dynamic digital platform of classroom resources available today.
This training is FREE but space is limited. Bring your own devices (tablets,laptops or other devices) to follow along online.
Register by June 3. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8:30 and the training at 9 am.
