House impeachment coverage on WGCU

By Dayna Harpster - November 12, 2019

The House of Representatives’ Judiciary Committee is considering two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

WGCU FM, Southwest Florida’s source for NPR, is airing live coverage of the “markup,” or the process of putting the articles of impeachment into their final form, beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. At 9 a.m. on Thursday, the markup is expected to continue, with debate and a committee vote taken. Tune in here. Due to the nature of live events, the times are subject to change.

Live video of the proceedings can be seen online here, where there is also a guide to the impeachment inquiry.

Regularly scheduled programs that will be pre-empted can be seen at video.wgcu.org.
