President to speak on coronavirus

Wednesday, Feb. 26: President Trump is holding a news conference about coronavirus at 6:30 p.m. He’ll be joined by CDC officials and others to talk about the government’s response to the outbreak, which has sparked fears of a worldwide pandemic.

Coverage will be hosted by Ailsa Chang. Also joining the coverage: NPR Science Correspondent Richard Harris, NPR White House Correspondent Tamara Keith, and NPR Chief Economics Correspondent Scott Horsley.

The coverage will pre-empt at least a portion of All Things Considered, and the ending time is unknown.
