WGCU covers impeachment and election news on TV, radio, web and social media

The special coverage web page, wgcu.org/specialcoverage, will be your continuing source of information about events leading up to the presidential election on Nov. 3. On this page, WGCU will alert viewers and listeners about when and how to access information about:

  • State of the Union address on Tuesday, Feb. 4. At 9 p.m. WGCU FM will carry NPR’s special coverage of the State of the Union address and the Democratic response. It will be hosted by Audie Cornish. Also joining in on the coverage are NPR National Political Correspondent Mara Liasson, NPR Senior Washington Editor and Correspondent Ron Elving, and NPR Congressional Correspondent Susan Davis. NPR Chief Economics Correspondent Scott Horsley will also join the coverage to offer fact-checking of the speeches. The coverage is expected to last more than an hour.   • The Senate is expected to vote on the Articles of Impeachment on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 4 p.m. Eastern. Learn more about the impeachment at wgcu.org/specialcoverage
